Pecan Pie Bar Recipe
Delicious nutty crunchy and soft pecan pie bars baked on top of a maple shortbread crust
Pecan Pie Bars Filling:
2½ cups pecan halves
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup maple syrup
¼ cup melted butter
¼ cup coconut milk (or heavy cream)
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
½ tsp salt
Maple Shortbread Crust:
1½ cups flour
⅓ cup maple syrup
¾ cup unsalted melted butter
½ tsp salt
baked in 9"x9" cake pan
