A Century of Influence | Upper Arlington Celebrates Black History Month
This year’s Black History Month celebration marked a powerful milestone — 100 years of honoring the achievements, contributions, and enduring legacy of Black Americans. Hosted at the Bob Crane Community Center, our community gathered to reflect on a century of progress, perseverance, creativity, and leadership that continues to shape our nation and our local community.
The celebration highlighted the stories that inspire us, the culture that enriches us, and the voices that challenge us to grow. From past pioneers to present-day changemakers, Black history is American history — a living, evolving story of strength, innovation, and impact.
As we commemorate this 100-year celebration, we recognize that history is not only something we look back on — it’s something we actively carry forward.
