Join the City of Upper Arlington for a special 100th Year Black History Month Celebration on Saturday, February 21 from 2–4 pm at the Bob Crane Community Center. This free event is open to all ages, and membership is not required.
Celebrate a century of Black history through music, art and powerful voices that honor legacy and lived experience. Through dynamic performances and vibrant visual expression, this event highlights how art keeps history alive and connects generations.
The afternoon will feature performances by Cynthia Amoah at 2 pm and InPulse Dance Co at 3 pm. Guests can also explore the Community Gallery Art Exhibit, From the Inside Out | Healing the Inner Child, by artist Erin Smith Glenn, a moving collection centered on reflection and healing.
Art activity materials will be available thanks to the generous support of the Upper Arlington Public Library and the Community Relations Committee, offering hands-on creative experiences for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.
