Ayooo hiii! c: finally finished another MDZS and HOB edit, and this is my first full video with HOB more or less not being mixed together with loads more media :o
This project started for a couple different reasons, but the main reason being that it's a spontaneous dedication to my dear girlfriend, @EnchantedNebula c: I made it while both riding off the high of recently finding this song and absolutely loving it, and juuust having watched the most recent episodes of Heaven Official's Blessing :3 Legit watched 'em while making this bc i was hyped aand wanted more new content to edit with XD
(Speaking of which, i placed the scene with sound at 0:04 down immediately after finishing the 2nd ep bc i felt like that scene would be PERFECT for an audio transition of sorts :D)
And why this song, media mixture, and dedication? Well, I had just shown Enchi the song earlier that day and we both thought it was very sweet and fit us, and personally i couldn't stop thinking about Wangxian and slightly Hualian when listening to it, and then i linked it back to, hey, we could be those pairings, i could make a dedication x3

About the video and the process itself! :3
I wanted to work with a mix of raw and fx, but like GENUINELY try fx this time around. Something of stars, thresholdy, cosmicy COMICS vibes - especially with cutouts - and light leaks c: that was the original idea - as i continued, i started to experiment more with visuals, and i think what i got here is better than what i originally had in mind!
i usually suck at doing backgrounds for fx, but i'm happy with what i came up with here!
I tried loads of new things and methods of doing things!! I texturized text and the entire video with paper and grain textures (shoutout to TextureLabs btw PLEASE use their resources if you need some for graphic design 🙏), did frame-by-frame animation for the mask cutouts, crt effects, did a side zoom, added longer scenes with Motions that hit the beats instead of just changing scenes on beats, and in general played around with creating a tactile, papery, toned look to this video! ❤️
The side zoom was inspired by AeroRush and bits of the text were inspired by AzureGhost!! ❤️
Some effects were trial and error a slight bit, but generally i massively got into the flow c: I was also doubting my text effects/flow at first, surprisingly enough, but i feel proud of the result of them in the end ^^ The only thing is that- i actually think the text length could have been longer, but oh well, i don't really wanna re-render these versions again :o''
In general i'm happy i could make this video and feel inspired enough to finish it so soon as well! :3 but now it will be important for me to return to other things that i have to finish up mega soon- :o''
There's a personal edit i have in the works that i'd love to share once it's finished, and then i have a MEP part that needs to get done soon too!
(I generally call MDZS by its Chinese name and TGCF by its English name, but for consistency, i kept the Chinese names in the title and thumbnail ^^)
