Had a lot of fun with this one! Continuing to animate weapons, characters in first and third person. Thanks again to Sergey Ivanov's lovely GSH-18 model!

The GSH-18 handgun was designed during the 1990's in Russia by the KBP Instrument Design Bureau in Tula. The 'GSH' is short for the designers, Gryazev and Shipunow, as well as '18' standing for magazine capacity. The GSH-18's frame is made of a polymer while its slide and parts consist of steel. The handgun is a rotating-barrel, short recoil, locked-breech mechanism-- the design made it suitable for high-velocity ammo. Ultimately, the GSH-18 lost to the MP-443 Grach during Russian military trials, however the former pistol is still in use with law enforcement agencies and several military branches.
