PS3 Red Light Fix Reassemble Part 3
This is a video on how to reassemble the PS3 after taking it apart.
Step 1: Take the heat Sync and motherboard and place the processors down onto the heat Sync and clip them together. Then The top half stand it up right and fold it down like a book. Be sure to but the ribbon through the slot provided.
Step 2: Flip it over and put the Fan into place and plug the fan into the board.
Step 3: Screw in the metal crimps that are for the CPU and GPU. After you do that take the Backing of the PS3 with the power switch and snap it onto the back.
Step 4: Take the bottom tray of the PS3 and place the newly assemble Board into it. It should just fit right in. Now on the metal top you will see Arrow markings, The top left is the longest screw and the rest go in the other 6 holes.
Step 5: Take the Modem board and place it in front with the antenna attached to it. the main board goes in front and is held in by two screws and the modem antenna goes up top and is held in by one screw. Both slide in from the let to right and crew those in. After that take the ribbon and slide it into place and put the flap down.
Step 6: Put the power supply in. There are 6 Screws that you will need to put in. The yellow wire is the ground so the screw with the washer on it go there and the rest fill the other holes 2 in back and 3 in front. Plug the plug from the switch in the back and the plug into the mother board.
Step 7: Install the Blue Ray Drive. Take your drive and lift the flap up on the board and slide the ribbon in and put the flap down. then set the disc drive into place and plug it into the mother board.
Step 8: Fold the top on from the front of the PS3 first and then snap the back part down. Once you do that Screw in the top with the long screws. The short one goes in the hole marked with an S.
Step 9: Slide panel onto the PS3 and put the Torx screw into the slide slot and screw it into place. Once that slide the Hard Drive (HDD) back into place and then screw the Blue screw into place and put the door on and your done.
