Best way to Find Stage 5 Dragon Caves - RLCraft Guide
One of the most time-consuming tasks in RLCraft is the search for a Dragon den, which houses a stage 5 dragon.
This is a necessity if you want to find dragon eggs, needed for taming your very own dragon
Dragon eggs can only be found by killing a Female Stage 5 Dragon (or Stage 4)
There is no way to discern if it's a female or male dragon so it's basically just a 50% drop chance
Unlike younger dragons, which create nests on the surface of the overworld, these fully grown dragons reside in underground dens making them very difficult to find.
If awakened from their slumber they will arise from the depths of their lair and wreak havoc on everything and everyone around them
There was probably only 1 intended way to find them, which is digging
RLCraft adds a lot of additional tools that can help you accomplish this task, such as the Lycanite's pickaxes, most notably the geonach spear, and the vapula crystal axe.
However, rather than digging, there's a faster way to find them;
faster relatively speaking, because digging to find Stage 5 Dragon lairs is a very slow process.
