"Life Is Funny" was released on Ewonder Records in February 2015. The song was produced by Atlanta based producer and record label owner Ewonder. The music video was filmed in New York, and some scenes of the film, were filmed in front of live studio audience, at one of Celli Pitt's shows.
This very successful single features the pure jazzy and bluesy poetic vocals of Celli Pitt and the release also features world known remixes by Trey Max , Harlem Sunshine, Freedomsound, Alex Millet, Latest Craze and Ewonder.

Celli Pitt is a New York City based singer-songwriter/actor hailing from Kinston, NC. From the time she did her first church solo at 5 years old, she knew that music would play an important part of her life. Celli has performed on stages in NY, NJ, Dubai, and Paris amongst others. She is inspired by Nancy Wilson, Aretha Franklin, Rachelle Ferrell, Gladys Knight, and Sam Cooke— and many other truly lyric-driven artists. Whether singing gospel, jazz, blues, standards or House-- as long as it's love, she's down. She received her both her B.A. and MFA in Theatre (Spelman and Brandeis). She's thrilled to have recently released the house track "Over Me" with eWonder music. Feel good, dance good, love good....
Celli Pitt is an award winning actress and director, and recently won the Best Director and Best Production at the Downtown Urban Theatre Festival, held in New York. She has stared in numerous films, but is best known for her work on the internationally acclaimed films "Showtime" (2012) and "Premature" (2008).
Celli received her MFA in Acting from Brandeis University and her BA in Theatre from Spelman College. Her Blessed Unrest acting credits include: Machinal; Burn, Crave, Hold: The James Wilde Project; Measure for Measure; 365 Days/365 Plays; and the workshop production of Nick. She has performed nationally in National Tours, Regional Theatre, and Off-Broadway. Celli recently directed This Train is Bound for Glory at the Cherry Lane which won the 2008 Downtown Urban Theatre Festival’s Best Play Award. Additionally, Celli was a member of the vocal composition team and provided vocals for the score of the 2008 American Black Film Festival’s HBO Best Short Award Winning Film PreMature which begins airing on HBO in February 2009. A lover of the craft, Celli is also a private vocal and acting coach.
Ewonder is an established record producer, singer / songwriter and label owner originally from Harlem, New York, however now based in Atlanta, Georgia. He has collaborated with and released songs by some of the biggest artists in the House music industry, including names such as Josh Milan (Blaze), Quentin Harris, Jovonn, Roland Clark, DJ Romain, Lynn Lockamy, Dawn Tallman and many many more.
Ewonder has an extensive catalogue of record releases dating back to 2005, ranging from deep tech house to soulful and afro house. He also has an album forthcoming in 2020, which will be entered for the Grammy Awards.
