The Enigmatic Resting Place Of Luang Phor Moon in Sisaket Province.

Luang Phor Moon, the Great Thera of the Five Countries, who completed the Four Elements of Great Wisdom was born on 1894 in Sisaket Province and was ordained as a novice at the age of 14. Until the year 1917, he ordained and received the nickname "Thitsilo", meaning one who has established morality. He travelled to various places and studied witchcraft with many famous monks throughout the country, including Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia, and Indonesia. He passed away in 2003 at the age of 109 and his body was enclosed in a glass coffin.
A pagoda was built to house Luang Phor Moon's glass coffin that is not perishable. His body did not decay after 20 years is seen as a miraculous phenomenon, reinforcing the faith of believers throughout the country.
The next point where Buddhists must come and pay their respects is a building with a large replica statue of Luang Phor Moon Thitsilo.
Ban Jan Temple appears to be a significant pilgrimage site, drawing Buddhists who come to pay homage to Luang Phor Moon and engage in religious practices. The continuation of these traditions over the years highlights the enduring impact of Luang Phor Moon's teachings and the spiritual presence felt at the temple.
