A "Home" for the Tape Measure - By Winston
The Issue:
Every single time I needed to grab a tape measure to measure a pallet for LTL routing I had to walk all the way over to the tool area to grab a tape measure. In doing so I noticed some transportation waste.
The Improvement:
I made a permanent home for a tape measure at LTL. So now whenever I need to measure a pallet the tape measure is already at the LTL table.
The Impact:
Every time that I would have to measure a pallet this saves me 45 seconds that it would take to walk to the tool area and back.
