The Receiving Team needed better visibility on what we had coming in from our 3PL.
I gave the transfer request sheets a home next to our container sheets so the guys can clearly see what is expected to arrive and for what purpose. (MSQ Replen or Committed on SO, for example) . This allows us to see what is coming down the pipeline and prepare for it.
Giving these sheets a home will allow us to better prepare for what needs to be done - saving us time and money. Increased visibility will also reduce frustration.
