We won a hackathon!
Hey everyone, this summer me and my teammate, Pamela (Pingyue) Pan, won the Grand Prize from a hackathon issued by Atlas Madness: Hack MongoDB on Google Cloud.
The goal of the hackathon was to create a new application by integrating a database called MongoDB with one of Google Cloud’s products. We created a Slack bot named Peachy that allows users to interact with Google's latest PaLM 2 Vertex AI model.
Peachy has the capabilities of storing and accessing user conversation data from MongoDB to fine-tune chat responses and remember the context within a given conversation. This video is an update on the progress we have made since our submission, and it wasn’t until recently that we found out we won.
