Workshop on PSS®E by Dr Apel Mahmud, Organized by IICT, RUET & volunteered by IEEE RUET SB
For academic and research purposes, we often need to use simulation software to simulate any model. And in this case, first of all, we have to know how to use that software. To help you regarding this, a series workshop on “Advanced Softwares for ICT” will be organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, RUET, and volunteered by IEEE RUET Student Branch from 3rd February 2021 to 10th February 2021. The following simulation software is going to be discussed throughout the whole workshop- LaTEx, COMSOL, MATLAB (Simulink), PSS®E, Python, PowerSIM, PSpice, CST, HFSS, FEKO, ExpressPCB.
The 4th workshop of the series workshop on "Advanced Softwares for ICT" organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technology, RUET, and volunteered by IEEE RUET Student Branch was on "Power System Simulator for Engineering (PSS®E—often written as PSS/E)" on 6th February from 3.00 pm - 5.00 pm. Dr. Md. Apel Mahmud, Senior Lecturer, Deakin University, Australia is going to present the workshop on "PSS®E."
Power System Simulator for Engineering is a software tool used by power system engineers to simulate electrical power transmission networks in steady-state conditions as well as over timescales of a few seconds to tens of seconds.
Dr. Md. Apel Mahmud will enlighten us more about this amazing software.
