I just learned that the story has been told for 400 years.
Thank you very much, Ajahn Joke Bansomdej.
This is the first time I believe that Luang Pu Thuat
existed and possessed supernatural powers.
I have no knowledge of amulets or sacred objects, and I don't seek them out. I accept anything anyone gives me. I give anything I ask for free (in the past). I made this video out of curiosity. Did Luang Pu Thuat really exist? I'd only heard his name. At first, I thought he was a monk from our grandparents' era. Even though it was a sensational news story, I thought, "Hmm, 5 million, 10 million baht to build a kitchen for novice monks would be a great help."
Ajahn Joke Bansomdej (Ajahn Natthaphon Kessakorn) helped support the construction of the Phatthakkha, the kitchen for Somdej Phra Buddhacarya. He was responsible for inspecting the qualities of the Phra Somdej Wat Rakhang amulets, which Colonel Dr. Pairoj Phanarin had donated from the old crypt. We invited a group of devotees to rent and worship, contributing proceeds to the purchase of 5 rai of land, which was used to build a restaurant, a kitchen, and develop a Dharma park.
On December 4-5, 2025, Luang Pu Sila Sirichanto graciously scheduled a visit to preside over the chanting of the Mahakaccayana Sutta and the Mahapatthana scriptures. He also presided over the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of a building for sick monks, part of the project to build a hospital for monks (alternative medicine), dedicated to Mahavajiralongkornrajavidyalaya University. Ajahn Joke proposed to Ajahn Chao Khun Phra Thammachirachan and me that we create Luang Pu Thuat amulets to be included in the amulets that Luang Pu Sila Sirichanto would be able to offer special blessings and compassionate wishes within his residence.
The organizing committee approved Ajahn Joke's proposal and requested that all Ariyathrap Mahabarami amulets, sponsored by Colonel Dr. Pairoj Panarin, be used for the construction. The amulets were presented to Luang Pu Sila Sirichanto for him to pray over in his residence on the night of December 4th. (This may be one of the few amulets that stayed in the same residence as Luang Pu throughout the ceremony.)
During November, Ajahn Joke worked hard, both publicizing the event, finding sponsors, designing the event, and coordinating the construction. It can be said that Ajahn Joke devoted himself to raising funds to support the construction of a food offering for the novice monks.
Ajahn Joke and his company staff brought equipment to test the properties of gold, attended meetings, and planned almost every week. They came with great devotion and did not ask for any compensation. They simply arrived and had food, water, and coffee. This is what they call...a truly great friend here.
There is one thing I must especially thank Ajahn Joke for: whenever he came, he would tell me stories about Luang Pu Thuat, both during business meetings and during free time over meals. I admit...I just listened, just listened, listened, and listened. Until he brought the story. The mystery of Luang Pu Thuat's Dhamma, let me tell you about it.
So I started to explore further. This is the first clip I've made about Luang Pu Thuat. I made it last night... The Venerable Phra Thammachirachan and Venerable Maha Narongrit were sitting together. It was the first time I believed... that Luang Pu Thuat really existed and possessed supernatural powers... If anyone wants to know what happened to me last night, come meet me at the project... I'll tell you.
