In the chaos of the web, but also in in-person or virtual training classrooms, it's not easy to distinguish the false from the true, and often, unknowingly, we encounter click-bait fake news, rather than unqualified or inadequately trained disseminators. At a time when counterfeiting is not only synonymous with works of art, clothing, or gadgets, but is also rampant in the fields of education and information, Dr. Giordano felt it appropriate to draw the attention of our legislators and administrators, so that control methods and specific laws can be strengthened to combat the phenomenon.
