Time passes and we've almost gotten used to it, but it doesn't take much to realize what drivers traveling from Lucca to Abetone and vice versa are subjected to.
That the affected stretch of road needs repairs is beyond question, but what makes the unfortunate passengers traveling on this long stretch of road jump out of their seats are the numerous roadworks, started without taking into account the proximity of others, to the detriment of the motorist's patience and significantly increasing travel times.
But what is truly infuriating are the numerous roadworks that have been virtually abandoned for years, where the only certainty is the presence of the traffic lights, an icon of "good management and foresight."
This video message is intended to bring to the attention of the institutions, and in particular President Giani, who is clearly unaware of this situation. Besides creating enormous disruption to normal road traffic, it certainly does not encourage access to the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, a sought-after tourist destination that should be better promoted, protected, and remembered by some political figures.
