Thursday, May 21, 2020, marks the ninth Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). The purpose of GAAD is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access/inclusion and people with different disabilities.
This year, as we have for the past few years, UXPA UK is joining in the celebrations - online, of course. We're always glad when it's GAAD!
Accessibility has come a long way over the past few years. It's unusual to find organisations that haven't embraced the need for it, but challenges for UX and accessibility professionals remain. How can accessibility be fully integrated in an organisation? What's the best way to do it? Are we really doing it right? What if things go wrong?

The magic 'accessibility' button still doesn't exist, but by working together and sharing our experiences we'll get there!

This year we're working with two of the best in class, BBC and AbilityNet to bring you talks to provide practical advice and insights from their experience.
