Tails is a great solution if you need to work on someone else's computer without leaving any traces. Roughly speaking, Tails is an operating system just like Windows, but it's 8GB and boots from a flash drive in about a minute.
This comparison is relative because, unlike Windows, Tails isn't installed on the computer but boots from a flash drive, so rebooting the system won't leave any traces of your presence. There's no interaction with the computer's hard drive—you're working from a flash drive.
