The OSU Argon Geochronology Lab at CEOAS has used 40Ar/39Ar radiometric methods for decades to improve scientific understanding of a whole suite of research areas: geochronology of the ocean crust, ocean island volcanism, large igneous provinces, lunar and planetary rocks, hydrothermal minerals and clays, and more.
In this video, Professor Anthony Koppers, gives us a tour of this lab space. This NSF-sponsored facility is open to visiting scientists and students from across and outside the USA.
