Experiential learning is a huge part of education here at CEOAS. And nothing teaches you the OSU oceanography experience quite like taking samples off the coast of Newport in the R/V Elakha ⛴️

OC350 offers multiple days of experiential learning with professors Miguel Goñi and Kristen Buck. Students learn shipboard processes and maneuvers, and take the samples they collect back to the classroom for post-cruise analysis.
