Eurorack minimal ambient music - Where Is One
This eurorack minimal ambient piece is an experiment in modulation techniques and performance parameters. My challenge was to build a system that enhanced my ability to express myself and improvise minimal ambient music.
I designed my eurorack system with flexible and extensive modulation sources and destinations as the goal. I like to build complex, semi-generative patches where performance is less about choosing notes and harmonies and more about musically manipulating the logic of the patch.
This patch is still under development. I hope to integrate it with Ableton Live by way of midi-to-cv and cv-to-midi conversions, and then use Live to control the generative processes to create longer and more interesting pieces of minimal ambient music.
