If you're bored of plain Greek yogurt, you have to try my salted caramel banana recipe that is under 500kcal with over 50g of protein 🍌
It takes under 5 minutes to make and tastes like a dessert.
499 kcal - 52g Protein - 59g carbs - 7g fat
INGREDIENTS
200g 0% fat Greek Yogurt
1 Scoop of whey Isolate (30g scoop - 20-25g of protein)
1 Medium banana (80g)
2 tbsp peanut butter powder (30g)
20g maple syrup (or honey)
20g raw rolled oats
5g Butter
Pinch of sea salt
4-6 Tbsp water
METHOD
Slice the banana up. Melt butter in pan and throw on the chopped banana. Cook on low heat for 1-2 minutes (until they start to soften).
While they are cooking, mix yogurt with protein. Mix peanut butter powder with water to make a MUCH lower kcal peanut butter.
Throw in a pinch of salt with the bananas and mix in. Add the maple syrup to the pan, and mix until dissolved (around 30 seconds).
Throw the oats in the pan, mix well, and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
Turn the hit off and put the cooked bananas on the yogurt along with your peanut butter.
Enjoy breakfast, post-workout, or as dessert (if you have the kcal).
