Incorrect NBN lead-In Cable to Granny Flat NON COMPLIANCE
Hi All
We attended a site today where a client was wanting to get the internet connected, either direct via NBN or share from the main house.
What we found never meets the A/S S009 2020, and may cause an electrical hazard.
We have refused to connect this service and advised the client to contact the builder for rectification.
The client informed us that the builder told them "it didn't matter as it was a phone line NOT NBN"
The NBN service is FTTP, and the Cobuit MUST BE WHITE and the cabling MUST ALSO MEET THE STANDARDS FOR UNDERGROUND CABLING.
