Kenyon Martin (3-of-23) Clamped by Tim Duncan & Co. in Championship Clincher
June 15, 2003 - After a semi-strong start to the 2003 NBA Finals that saw Kenyon Martin average close to 20 points per game through the first three games, fortunes made a sudden turn. Over his final three games of the series, Martin averaged just 10 points per game while shooting 25 percent from the field, including a combined 5-of-31 in games five and six.
In Game 6, in particular, Martin was limited to 6 points on 3-of-23 shooting from the floor in his team's 88-77 series-closing loss. Tim Duncan, meanwhile—Martin's power forward counterpart—nearly registered a quadruple double in the win, finishing with 21 points, 20 rebounds, 10 assists, and 8 blocks.
