Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor (MOSFET) is a voltage controlled device used in a variety of high frequency power applications. The NPN enhancement type MOSFET is usually preferred in power electronic circuits and n- drift region is introduced in the structure to increase the voltage blocking capability of the device.
The structure of power mosfet and the reason for representing body diode in the mosfet symbol is discussed in detail. the characteristics of the mosfet and how it is controlled is explained clearly.
This video helps to give the power electronic concepts in a simple and easily understandable way so that even non electric people could get the point.
It will also be helpful for those who prepare for competitive exam and GATE exam.
Hope the content helps you.
