The mental math trick explained in this video can be used in two digit multiplication. It is an easy math trick that is demonstrated in the simplest way possible. This is first of the two part videos. In the second part you will learn how to deal with carry in vertical and cross wise technique.

Multiplication short trick for two digit numbers basically helps you multiply by avoiding the need to remember a carry. With the traditional two digit multiplication approach you had to multiply from right to left, which was tedious due to carry involved. But the fast math multiplication trick will help you multiply from left to right. With the left to right speed math multiplication technique you will not have the overhead of remembering the carry.
Among the various two digit multiplication tricks that exists, this Vedic maths trick for fast multiplication is by far the best as it can be applied on any two digit multiplication. Due to this left to right approach this speed math technique is often used in mental math for multiplication of two digit numbers.
In fact this fast math trick for two digit numbers can be applied on two digit by one digit multiplication as well. In this case we will pre-append 0 to the single digit number and apply the easy math trick multiplication explained in this video
▶️ Multiply Two Digit Number example and Solution:
31 x 22= 682
▶️ Trick to Multiply Two Digit Number:
• Step 1: To calculate the product of two digit numbers we will divide the solution into three parts
• Step 2: Left most part is obtained by multiplying the tens digit in 31 and 22
• Step 3: To calculate the middle part, cross multiply between 3 and 2, and 2 and 1, and then add the respective values as shown.
• Step 4: Right most part is obtained by multiplying the digits in the units place of both the numbers
