Shomen Uchi Shiho Nage
Shiho Nage is one of the most well-known techniques in Aikido. Considered as one of the fundamental technical pillars of art, it is a waza that allows countless possibilities of applications and technical approaches. In this video, I explore this waza with Shomen Uchi's attack.
There are numerous ways to apply it, here I demonstrate what in my view is the basic form and some possible variations that I use in my practice.
