Skagen unveiled its latest model, the Skagen Falster 3, at CES 2020. The Skagen Falster 3 is identical in design to its predecessor, the Fossil Gen 5, and other smartwatches sold by Fossil under various brand names. The main difference between the models lies in the pre-installed watch faces, which vary depending on the brand.
SKAGEN FALSTER 3 SPECIFICATIONS
The Skagen Falster 3 features a 1.3-inch display. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100, it's not the latest technology on the market. The Snapdragon Wear 3100 was released in 2018 and has been used in all current Fossil models for about a year. The Falster 3 also boasts 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage for personal data such as music. Numerous built-in sensors enhance the smartwatch's capabilities.
GOOGLE PAY THANKS TO WEAR OS
The Skagen Falster 3 runs on Google's Wear OS operating system. This enables the use of Google's own contactless payment service, Google Pay. The Skagen 3 is controlled via the touchscreen and the buttons on the side.
What do you think of the new Wear OS smartwatch, the Skagen Falster 3? Is it a real eye-catcher or just a pretty accessory with a poor operating system? Let me know your thoughts on the Wear OS Skagen Falster 3 in the comments.
