Another year around the sun. The end of a chapter in this story. The beginning of a brand new path.
I always wanted to do a cover of this song for as long as I’ve been listening to it (a solid 3-4 years). It conveyed something which I didn’t know of at the time. Even now, I don’t have a good name for it. I’ve settled on calling it a desperation to live, to experience life.
At its highest, its lowest, its toughest, its happiest.
For the longest time, I wanted to love life. I realize now I always have. I just never believed that
Celebrating my birthday always will begin and end with celebrating the people around me. I’ve had the privilege to know, to work with, and to deeply love so many wonderful individuals over the last few years. I have grown so much beyond what I resigned myself to be, so much so that I’m finally mustering the strength to chase my lofty dream. Past Luuna would not even fathom this thought, that she would walk into a new adventure surrounded by so much love, by so much life.
I hope this project can convey my gratitude, my hopes for the future ahead. I hope you can continue to walk alongside me. I can’t wait to see what comes for us.
