AFTER A LITTLE OVER 3 MONTHS, IT’S FINALLY OUT!!!!
I have no words to describe how happy I am with how this cover turned out. While the style is certainly not my usual, I’m glad I challenged myself both with how I sang it and the vocal arrangement. AND THE MIX, when I fr tell you that I’m still uncertain how tf I did this (90% sure my new mic is carrying me a fuck ton but even so, I’m still amazed at how everything sits); I don’t think 2020 me would be able to comprehend that 2 years later, I improved this much and I really just have to thank this community for continuing to challenge me and give me more and more insight to do better.
And how can I forget the amazing staff that worked on this? First off, a big big shoutout to Yachen the GOAT for tuning my vocals and also being one of the people whose encouragement pushed me to do this cover in the first place. You helped to make everything sound so TIGHT. Thank you so so sooo much Mikaur for the absolutely incredible art; I’m honored to be one of your first higher priced comms and I will continue to threaten you with love and affection and never letting you undersell your art. Lastly, a big big BIG thank you to Hoochi for this amazing MV!! When I tell you I looped the wips and cried and screamed. It was an honor to work with you and I hope to commission you again in future.
