When talking about enterprise product design with younger designers, we often hear: ‘meh, these are just some tables and control panels, it’s all boring’. As it turns out, though, this is a very complex world with all kind of problems ( data interoperability, anyone? 😱), which makes it a perfect playground for UX designers. Is there anything better than a list of problems, big data sets and a back-end processes understanding?

We will be talking about enterprise product design with Maja Wolf, digital product designer at Tom PIT, Eva Oven, UX designer at LeanIX, and Amedea Derenda Mujezinović, ScreenSaverz co-founder & mentor and senior UX specialist.

Maja Wolf is UX designer who likes to see users involved in product design process. In her career she has worked on medical products design, as well as performed several design workshops and courses.

Today she is a part of Tom PIT team, a digital experience platform provider, specialized in digital transformation. Her biggest challenge is to support business processes through digital transformation, to optimize their cost of production, and make them shortened or simplified.

Eva Oven started out as an inhouse designer at the medical devices development company. She has continued her work on digital product design through different UX talks, meetups, conferences, Medium, and hobby projects. The path led her from independent work and startups to LeanIX company, which employs over 500 people and has its own 9 members UX team.

Right now she is researching the processes of enterprises which deal with Saas licences and subscriptions. Her work involves lots of financial data and constant challenge of how to present all this complexity in a simplifed way, and how to transform all the data into information.

Amedea Derenda Mujezinović is a UX specialist, and ScreenSaverz co-founder & mentor, who believes that the discovery phase is the basis for good digital products. As the UX planner and product manager, she has been designing MESI medical applications and back-office systems for almost 7 years. She currently spends most of her time as a designer of so-called enterprise systems and business applications. She is cooperating with several companies, such as Zavarovalnica Triglav, Krka, Kaldi, Loftware NiceLabel, Nevron and others. As an active member of Slovenian UX community she organizes and leads the Slovenian edition of Global Service Jams and SD x UX Drinks events.
