Hello everybody!
I was working on a few paint touch ups on the front bumper of my 2001 Lexus GS430 and while the hood was up I glanced at the airbox and got an idea for a MAF adapter.
After a few measurements, a picture, and about an hour with Fusion360, I printed the prototype with PLA. Once the fitment was confirmed I printed it with clear PETG which is the part that is being installed now.
The MAF sensor fits well into the adapter and it fits well into the intake tube. The issue is that without a filter on the end the engine does not want to run. I was able to get the engine running by putting the stock filter in front of the opening. I have a cone filter on order and more test footage is in the works.
Thanks for watching.
