Dr. Pete's Big Event 2014
Every year, new students at the Oklahoma State University - College of Osteopathic Medicine take part in an activity designed to help build teamwork and community goodwill.
"Dr. Pete's Big Event" is a student-led community service project where med students spend a day at non-profit organizations, helping to improve the lives of people in and around Tulsa.
On Friday, August 1, 2014, a total of 115 medical students divided their time between five local organizations.
