The Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Class of 2018 participating in the White Coat Ceremony.

The white coat symbolizes the medical profession and the ceremony emphasizes the importance of the doctor-patient relationship and focuses on the true meaning of the art and science of medicine.

Presentation of Students:
Vivian M. Stevens, Ph.D., Associate Dean for Enrollment Management

Cloaking of Students:
William J. Pettit, D.O., Interim Senior Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, Associate Dean of Rural Health
Joan E. Stewart, D.O., Associate Dean for Clinical Education
and
Michael K. Cooper, D.O., President, Oklahoma Osteopathic Association

Students were cloaked with white coats provided by the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association.
