In July Angie and I went on a road trip thru the Sierra Nevadas in California. Our first stop on the trip was Big Meadow Campground where we spent two nights while spending one of the days at Kings Canyon National Park. Big Meadow Campground is a National Forest Campground in Sequoia National Forest fairly close to the Grant's Village of Kings Canyon National Park.

Grant's Village is home to General Grant tree which is the second largest Giant Sequoia Tree in the World, we visited that before driving down into Kings Canyon which is another hour drive to the road's end. At the end of the road we hiked up down the river a little ways through Zumwaldt Meadow and to Roaring River Falls. In hindsight, I think I would have rather we just visited those spots from closer pullouts along the road and then used our time to hike to Mist Falls. Mist Falls looks like a more fun hike, I guess we need to return to do that one too!

Big Meadow Campground was alright aside from the mosquitos which were just downright horrible at times. Maybe other sights weren't as bad, ours was close to a slow moving stream.

Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoyed. Please make sure to like this video, and subscribe if you haven't already!
