Shadowrun 5e - Guide for Players
Videos on the internet explaining the rules of a game like this are a good starting point, but never a replacement for reading the rulebook yourself.
Though being familiar with the game when you're going into the book will make this task all the easier.
It's 500 some odd pages, but it's easier to digest when you treat the rulebook more like an encyclopedia -- if your character is a Face, you'll probably be more interested in Skills than Magic.
(Unless you're an Aspected Magician in addition to being a Face, but I can't necessarily recommend mixing archetypes to people new to RPGs in general.)
