The seats in my 1964 Karmann Ghia didn’t match the rest of the interior — worn, tired, and completely out of place.

After installing the floor and carpet, the seats suddenly stood out — worn, tired, and completely out of place.
Let’s just say… I was told, “I’m not sitting on that.”
So I had two choices. Replace them, or learn how to do it myself.
In this episode, I go through the full process of reupholstering the seats — unpicking the originals, creating patterns, rebuilding the foam, and slowly learning how to sew everything back together.
It’s a slow process, and definitely not as simple as it looks, but this is where the interior really starts to come back to life.
