College Writing – Episode 1 "Critical Thinking with Cats"
Here we look at a thought problem concerning a taboo of the western world and use a simplified process of the revised Bloom’s Taxonomy to critically think through the problem together.
This is the first lesson of the semester in my English 1A/100 and 1C/103 classes. While the information and conclusions could have been delivered faster, clearer, and developed further in an uninterrupted lecture format, dialogue is essential for students, or anyone for that matter, to really grapple with ideas and grow in their thinking, understanding, and skills. Sorry it’s long. I hope you enjoy and can use something from it!
