Huayna Picchu, Peru
Mount Huayna Picchu or Wayna Picchu is in the archaeological precinct of Machu Picchu. Known as the 'Stairs of Death', the mount is 2667 metres tall and gives the viewer a spectacular observation over Machu Picchu. Traditionally, the mountain was the residence of the High Priest who would walk to the summit each day, to welcome the sunrise.
