At first, your 5- to 7-month-old may be more interested in flipping the pages or chewing on a book than in hearing you read or talk about it. That’s okay, they’re learning either way. 💡 Keep reading to them each day. As you do, follow your baby’s lead and be playful. Here’s are some early reading #ParentingTips from Lovevery Expert and pediatric speech therapist Kelli Meyer @TheSpeechScoop:

✨Sit facing your baby.
📚 Use “parentese.”
🧠 Try incorporating sign language.
🗣️ Make animal noises.
📖 Use single words and exclamatory words.
🥰 Invite your baby to help you turn the pages.

Our board books are developed with your child’s development in mind.
