Foot position on a surf board
Front foot: you'll see variants with this but you really want it perpendicular to almost 30 to 45 degrees angled to the stringer. What this slight angle forwards does is it frees up range of motion in the pelvis.
Back foot: we don't want to back foot backwards. You will occasionally see this, there's always nuance. But in general, back foot backwards is an issue because of how it then rotates the head of the femur in the socket. We want to back foot perpendicular to the stringer or slightly forwards
