Now that all the parts have turned up.

Including the wrong PSU, FRAAAACK! Any old hoo, an unboxed 850w Corsair ATX PSU is now waiting on ebay for your perusal and hopefully purchase, I need to by an SFX foramt, DOH!

For the title of this vid, I had a play with bubble text (to create the "let down" metaphor).

Bubble text tutorial at:    • Creating Bubble Type or Balloon Text Infla...

The idea also came to me to make the title text the "L" transition.

It was a fudge and I might do this differently next time. It involved turning the plane into an image. Dropping the plane a little to obscure the text when it was "deflated", so that it pops out of the background. The thing being that while the plane was a collisiion surface, since the animation had been baked, it still appears permissible to play with the collision plane position (slightly) after the bake.

Anyway, I simply used a mixer with a green shader and keyframed the green screen to come in at the end. I also animated the plane to drop slightly at the end (really away from the camera) to ensure the text wasn't clipped by the plane anymore at the end. I did that so the next sequence would merge in without glitching.

The second sequence was the same text inflation, really on a green screne of an environment thus:    • How to make Green Screen Footage in Blende...

As usual, I pulled all the clips into Openshot for "post" production. I reversed the second sequence to "delate" instead of "inflate" the text (get it "let down"!). Any hoo, I needed also to drop the alpha on the title sequence video (the exploding colour ball revealing the "bulb"). This was to match the alpha of the second sequence, or at least that of the still from the title sequence that the inflated text was animated over. (Mental note to self, learn more about lighting).

Fly away of text at the end is animated in Openshot.

At this point in time, I haven't ordered a new PSU, as I am waiting on the sale of the perfectly good unboxed PSU to be sold.

The pain.

Oh the pain.

DOUBLE FRAAAAACK!

Yes, yes, yes, before you spam me, what the frack did you want me to do with the useless autofocus on my Microsoft web cam, tich. Go tell Bill to get his head out of the toilet and go fix the cameras.

Otherwise, video captured in 60fps using OBS and that dang blasted dopey Microsoft dud camera, and speed up 16x with editing in Openshot.
