Some time around 2014 I asked operatic baritone Joseph Shore if he would allow me to record him singing the Catholic Mass setting Mass XVII (for Sundays in Advent and Lent). He joked "I usually charge for my singing" but was happy and quick to oblige. This is the first time his recordings of the "Kyrie" (somehow the final part is missing), "Sanctus," and "Agnus Dei" from Mass XVII have been released. This was the first time he had ever looked at it so he is totally sight reading here. Shore unfortunately passed away in July 2021.
