/ vinyltovideo Italian tenor Bruno Landi (with baritone Wilfred Engelman) perform the scene which includes "Ecco ridente in cielo" (0:00) (cat. 11-8198). Then Colombian baritone Carlos Julio Ramirez sings "Largo al factotum" (5:20) (11-8199) and is followed by Italian soprano Hilde Reggiani singing "Una voce poco fa" (10:20) (11-8202). These are all of course from Rossini's "The Barber of Seville." I believe the set these came from to have been released in 1940 (Victor DM-898). Giuseppe Bamboschek conducts the Victor Symphony Orchestra. Other familiar names included on the 16 sides are Lucille Browning, John Gurney, and Lorenzo Alvary. Landi and Reggiani were husband and wife and often performed together. Ramirez can also be heard in a "duet" of "Figaro" with Sinatra done for the radio.
