Yushan National Park｜Above the Clouds (ENG) ｜Taiwan｜玉山國家公園
Mountain ranges rise and fall within Yushan National Park. More than 30 peaks are over 3000 meters high. These mountain peaks that rise above the clouds are like islands in the ocean, where evolution of isolated species takes place in a more pronounced manner.
The high mountain is a unique environment. The mountain range poses tough trials for the life forms that inhabit it. Yet, the challenges provide the necessary motives for species to adapt and evolve.
The tallest mountain in northeast Asia, Yushan has withstood a long passage of time. Life’s many totems have found their homes here, where diversified ecosystems are showcased. Yushan manifests the invaluable essence of a mountain island.
