The Hengchun Peninsula at the southernmost tip of Taiwan is the area with one of the lushest coral distributions formed by the uplift of the earth's crust hundreds of thousands of years ago. The southern part of the Hengchun Peninsula does not have a large coast, and the sand is less likely to be washed away. Therefore, the Nanwan sea area surrounded by Eluanbi to Maobitou has clear water all year round, and there is a vast coral beauty everywhere.
