Crosstabs in Excel: Formulas & Pivot Tables
In this video, we learn two ways to build crosstab (cross tabulation) tables in Excel. We start off with building our crosstab using formulas, then we switch over to making one using a pivot table. The formula method covers UNIQUE, SORT, TRANSPOSE, COUNTIF, and COUNTIFS, along with formatting the result to follow APA table guidelines. The pivot table method shows how to convert data into an Excel table and distill it without formulas.
