Oil causes FIRE in a G3 Ferrari Napoli pizza oven
I purchased this second hand oven. The previous owner smeared oil all over the stone because he thought that was how to use it. The smell was unbearable, but after heating it up and allowing all the oil to burn it was like new again.
So don't use oil on the stone! There's not a single pizzeria that does this either, because it's a bad thing to do.
