I am a doctor by the day and a recreational cook and baker on the weekends and my days off. I research on dishes to make sure they are as authentic as possible. I love curry but also enjoy other cuisines. Chinese dishes and Thai dishes are my favourite. Baking different type of breads is my favourite past time. Inspired by the likes of Paul Hollywood, I can safely say that if I was not a doctor than I will most probably be a baker. I do not have much experience in making cakes but I am learning. I try different recipes and only upload the ones that actually work and taste good to my palate. I would like to share my culinary experience with you and during this journey like to share my experience with the viewers including the highs and lows of my cooking and my learning from other cooks and chefs and of course from my viewers.
Steam buns are an oriental classic while Shami kebab are an Indo-Pakistani classic. In this video I have combined the two classics to make a wonderful meal. The steam buns are soft and very light and fluffy with a subtle hint of sweetness which goes wonderfully well with the spice of Shami kebabs.
Use lettuce, tomatoes, chutneys, ketchup or mustard to garnish these delicious burgers. I have made these for a garden party once and went down a treat.
