Wherein I think out loud about Hato from Genshiken Nidaime (perhaps to disasterous results), trying to be mindful of trans individuals, crossdressers, and everything inbetween. More specifically, thinking about how welcoming the characters of Genshiken are, and how I wish more of society was like the club.

This video almost broke me.
I spent a ton of time creating a video I could be proud of, using clips from the show, only to have it unable to be viewed due to copyright. I tried several times to get around that, but in the end, I had to face the fact that no one would see the video I made. This "video" here contains the audio and a bunch of screenshots taken from the video I put so much of my time into. It's the best I could do. It's overdue (by a long, long time), and my confidence has been almost completely shot in the process. I'm going to keep trying to make videos, but I am definitely going to focus less on the visual and more on what is being said. Because, unfortunately, that may be the only way to create anything YouTube will let me put up.
I still put a lot of effort into this, even if it is basically a slideshow, because I want to do work I can be at least somewhat proud of, and I think I made something passable, even if it's not great. If you watched it, if you've read this, thank you for your time, and remember - let's try to accept one another, even if we don't completely understand one another.
